Miss C is more than just my grade 4 teacher. As cliché as it sounds, I would not be who I am today if not for her. She believed in the potential of every student and always encouraged us to be kind, brave, and do what we love.
When I first entered her class, I was extremely shy and reserved – I didn’t even dare to raise my hand to ask a question. Miss C helped me build my confidence, gave me the courage to challenge myself, and taught me how to embrace my strengths. By the end of the year, I ran for head prefect and got the role – a position that required leadership, public speaking, and putting myself out there. All these things would have been my worst nightmare as the shy kid that I was. From then on, I began to see my own potential and capabilities. Miss C continued to watch me grow, cheering for me along the way.
To this day, she still remains one of my biggest mentors and supporters, and I am forever grateful for all her kind words, encouragement, and affirmations. Whether as a teacher or a mentor, Miss C brings out the best version in anyone, with the most genuine heart that openly listens and guides you to where you need to be."

Miss C worked with our child at school and supported our entire family through a difficult time last year. My son Aaron has always been a challenging child to raise. He struggled to control his emotions, and his outbursts could last for hours. As a parent, I often felt completely helpless, unsure of how to handle the situation.
Danielle guided me through this by sharing stories and examples from her own relationship with her daughter. Her kindness and empathy became a turning point in my journey as a father. She helped me see how I could approach Aaron’s challenges with more understanding and patience. Because of Danielle, I truly believe I’ve grown into a better father, someone who may not always agree with Aaron’s actions but is always there for him.
This transformation has helped Aaron feel more secure and better manage his anxieties, knowing he’s fully supported. He still has his tantrums, but now we have cues to help each other calm down more quickly.
